5th I-LISS International Conference (IIC) 2022 on “the Era of Post-pandemic: Data Curation and Literacy” being organized by I-LISS in association with Kyungpook National University, Jeonbuk National University, and JISTaP & Keimyung University, South Korea.
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation, resulting in the heavier use of data. This in turn pushes for stronger data curation and literacy to further a data-driven society . A data-driven society emphasizes the roles of data curation and data literacy as it has tremendous pressure to manage and utilize data more efficiently. Looking ahead to a Post-COVID-19 world, the 5th I-LISS international conference (IIC) is a forum to assist in addressing the roles of information professionals, highlighting data curation and literacy during and post-COVID-19 pandemic eras. The 2022 I-LISS IIC will be held both virtually and in-person. The in-person conference will be held at Humanities Korea Hall, Kyungpook National University in Daegu, South Korea on 21 - 22 October 2022.

Submission Instructions

Papers are invited on the theme based on research experience or theoretical model, case studies from all fraternities, including LIS students, librarians, academicians, research scholars and IT professionals. The paper must be an application oriented addressing the present day issues and providing solutions are most welcome. Contributors are asked to submit an extended abstract in minimum of 400~500 words before the time schedule mentioned in the portal. The decision of editorial committee is final in the selection of abstract. Once the abstract is accepted the decision will be intimated to authors to submit full length paper and registration fee. Without registration fee paper will not be accepted for print the conference proceedings.

This conference is aimed at a broader section of Library and Information Science Professionals, Legal Professionals knowledge workers, academicians, practicing librarians, research scholars, students, and IT Professionals.

Guidelines for Authors
  • The page limit for full papers is 6-8 pages in length (excluding references)
  • The papers should present new and original research results from empirical investigations, or from theory and model development
  • All submissions must include title, author lists and affiliation, short abstract (no more than 200 words, one paragraph only), keywords, introduction, body of text, conclusion, acknowledgement (if necessary), and references
  • All submissions must be in electronic format in MS Word using the template. Once your manuscript is ready for submission, please log into the Easy Chair for IIC 2022.
  • Corresponding authors should sign the Copyright License Agreement and email the agreement in PDF format to iliss2022kr@gmail.com
  • At least one of the authors must register the conference before 30th September 2022 for the inclusion of the paper in the conference proceedings
